Early Years Conference – time to invest in our children’s future
Home-Start in Hampshire are hosting a conference to highlight the importance of early intervention and early years support. The speakers, experts in their field, will illustrate the stark reality of our children’s future when parents are left without support.
By bringing together experts, professionals, politicians, local authorities and voluntary organisations, this key event will focus on partnerships – getting it right together.
We need to stop troubled children becoming troubled adults, by giving parents the help they need to give their children the best possible start in life.
This prestigious event will be held at Winchester Guildhall on 13th March 2015.
The aim of the conference is to:
- influence child and family support strategies in Hampshire and beyond
- evidence the need for early years support
- provide a forum for organisations to network & establish effective partnerships
The conference will be chaired by Alastair Stewart, OBE; key speakers are Camila Batmanghelidjh, Founder, Kids Company; Dr Alain Gregoire, Consultant in Perinatal Psychiatry and Maternal Mental Health Chair; Zoe Munby, Director of the Early Years Foundation; and Rob Parkinson, CEO, Home-Start UK.
